Overview
As a WordPress Developer, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining websites that effectively represent our brand and meet our business needs. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to ensure a seamless user experience and drive business growth through impactful online presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to achieve specific website functionalities
- Develop and maintain websites using clean, efficient, and documented code
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure visual and functional consistency
- Implement responsive design and optimize sites for mobile devices
- Integrate third-party APIs and web services into websites
- Perform website performance tests and troubleshoot site issues
- Stay updated on new trends and technologies in web development
- Provide technical support to internal teams for website-related matters
- Ensure website security measures are in place and up to date
- Conduct website content updates and maintenance as required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with responsive and mobile design
- Knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and user experience
- Understanding of website security best practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
