Position Summary:

Reporting to the Plant Controller and working closely with local operations management, the Operations Controller is responsible for the planning, monitoring, and accurate recording of production costs, inventory accounts, and capital investments within the operations area.

This role is a key part of the Mirandola Controlling team, providing financial guidance to the plant, driving performance improvements, and actively supporting the implementation of S4 HANA.

Additionally, the Operations Controller will lead the Global Inventory Consolidation Reporting for LivaNova, including the development of standardized dashboards and KPIs, collaborating with controllers across various manufacturing and commercial sites.

This is an on-site position based in Mirandola, with regular interaction with other LivaNova locations, as well as the Accounting, IT, and Internal Audit teams.

General Responsibilities:

· Provide financial support to site production functions acting as day-to-day finance partner for operations and supply chain.

· Support the annual standard costing process, ensuring accuracy and integrity of cost data.

· Assist the Plant Controller in preparing the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and monthly reporting with ownership of selected sections and analyses

· Analyze and explain monthly manufacturing variances and operating expense deviations, proposing corrective actions where needed.

· Identify and support initiatives to reduce production costs.

· Deliver monthly analysis of Mirandola inventory and capital expenditures, including justification of inventory provisions.

· Lead Global Inventory Consolidation and Reporting, ensuring consistency of definitions, controls, and monthly close alignment across sites.

· Play an active role in the S4 HANA implementation, including testing, go-live, and post-go-live activities.

Skills and Experience:

· Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Controller in structured organizations.

· Solid expertise in cost accounting and standard product costing, including BOM and production cycle evaluation in discrete manufacturing environments using ERP systems (SAP S4 HANA experience is highly preferred).

· Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to summarize and present financial insights clearly.

· Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams.

· Highly organized with excellent problem-solving capabilities.

· Advanced proficiency in Excel experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is highly desirable

Education:

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

· Fluent in both Italian and English (spoken and written).

Travel Requirements:

· Occasional travel may be required.
