Our client is a major multinational company specializing in the distribution of medical supplies. In order to strengthen the internal staff, he commissioned us to search for a Senior Accountant.
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to assist the Finance Manager in managing local audit and tax activities. The role involves hands-on accounting tasks, SAP system usage, and internal reporting. A good level of English is required for documentation and communication within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Finance Manager in daily accounting operations and financial reporting
- Ensure accurate accounting and compliance with Italian accounting standards
- Help with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
- Monitor fiscal deadlines and ensure timely submissions
- Prepare internal reports and communicate effectively in English when needed
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting, audit, or tax in Italy
- Good knowledge of Italian tax laws and accounting principles
- Experience with SAP
- Good command of English
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and support senior management
The contractual framework and the remuneration will be commensurate with the experience gained. Smart working is not considered.
