Job Description

You will develop and enhance verification frameworks, program and integrate test environments for embedded cryptographic software, and ensure compliance with industry standards through automated workflows, rigorous testing, and audit-proof documentation.

In your new role you will:

• Take responsibility for the technical direction and deliverables of a small team focused on software development and verification
• Create, execute, and manage test strategies for embedded cryptographic software, ensuring documentation meets both project and process standards
• Develop and validate software for embedded cryptographic solutions on security controllers using ARM and RISC-V architectures
• Design and improve verification frameworks, ensuring scalability, thorough test coverage, and alignment with project requirements

• Integrate the testing environment into automated build and test pipelines to support efficient and continuous development

• Participate in quality and productivity improvement initiatives by suggesting ideas and learning from ongoing best practices and industry trends

• Collaborate with a distributed team, including library developers, software developers, QA, and compliance experts, in an agile environment to improve verification, integration, and deliveries

Your Profile

You are a reliable and focused professional who works well under pressure and always meets deadlines with determination. You are willing to take smart risks and work closely with your team to ensure success, while constantly finding ways to improve and make things more efficient. With your ability to collaborate easily and effectively, you help deliver great results even in challenging situations.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science or a comparable field
• At least 6 years of professional experience in embedded software development with a strong background in verification, test development, and test automation
• Proven technical leadership skills to guide a small team and give technical directions
• In-depth know-how of embedded software development and toolchains
• Strong experience with embedded test systems and test frameworks, along with high proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or C
• Solid experience with version control tools like Git/GitLab and hands-on knowledge of containerized tools such as Docker
• Experience in the verification of cryptographic algorithms such as ECC ,RSA or AES is a plus
• Experience with ASPICE, Functional Safety & Cybersecurity is an advantage
• Fluency in English, German is an advantage
