PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Accounting Manager ensures the accuracy of accounting records and compliance with company procedures and regulations, providing operational and specialist support to the Finance Manager in closing, reporting, and financial statement activities.
THIS IS SELF-RELYING ROLE (PART OF FINANCIAL TEAM), WITHOUT TEAM TO MANAGE.
Responsibilities, Duties, And Tasks

  • Contributes to the management of the monthly accounting close, ensuring the accuracy of entries and compliance with SOX procedures, as well as providing the necessary support for the preparation of statutory financial statements.
  • Monitors and collaborates in resolving issues related to general accounting, inventory activities, and balance sheet account reconciliation.
  • Supports the Finance Manager in periodic reporting and annual closing activities, providing operational support for intercompany reconciliations and preparation of financial statement documentation.
  • Prepares and provides auditors with the documentation required for periodic audits.
  • Develops reports to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Manages tax compliance related to Intrastat, VAT, electronic invoicing, and intent letters.
  • Applies and promotes company and group policies.

  • Performs all activities in full compliance with current regulations, ensuring conformity with the requirements of the following standards:

  • ISO 9001 (Quality)

  • ISO Environment)
  • ISO Occupational Health and Safety)

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 5–6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Knowledge of General Ledger, budgeting, forecasting, ITA GAAP, and US GAAP principles.
  • Knowledge of statutory closing processes.
  • Understanding of the SOX auditing process.
  • English language skills
  • Konwledge of Office package.
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC ERP.
