Senior Events Specialist

About the Role & Team

You will act as the Project Manager for assigned events, leading all activities and coordinating different stakeholders to ensure successful execution.

Type of contract: 8 months contract

Location: Italy – Milan, Hybrid

What You'll Do

  • Ensure high-quality delivery of IDC events, managing logistics, speakers, partners, and delegates
  • Oversee financials to ensure event profitability
  • Execute marketing activities (event websites, email campaigns, telemarketing)
  • Collaborate with marketing to optimize messaging and maximize delegate attendance
  • Work closely with sales teams and other lines of business
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships within the market
  • Attend events in person across Italy

We are Looking for Someone Who

  • Has 3+ years of end-to-end event management experience
  • Brings an entrepreneurial, motivated, assertive, and collaborative mindset
  • Possesses strong project management and organizational skills
  • Has business-level English proficiency
  • Is skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Nice to have: Experience with Email Marketing tools (e.g., Cvent, Adestra)
