Installation and Assistance Technician

Job Description Summary
As an Installation and Assistance Technician, you will be responsible to install and test BD Rowa systems at customers' premises (mechanical calibration, robot setup, configuration of the measures and verification of correct communication between the Rowa system and the management software of the pharmacy)

The ideal candidate will need to be based in east Sicily (Catania/Siracusa/Ragusa) to support BD ROWA plants in the region and willing to travel 70% of the time throughout Italy to support colleagues for installation, maintenance, services, commissioning.

Main Responsibilities Will Include

• Management of remote and on-site activities at customers by identifying problems and taking corrective actions;
• Management of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance;
• Performance analysis and reporting in order to determine the impact on maintenance processes.

About You

• Technical diploma or higher education qualification;
• 3+ years in the field of technical assistance in the industrial automation sector (computerized management systems, robots);
• Demonstrable experience in finding and identifying faults on electromechanical/electronic appliances;
• Business English Proficiency;
• Willing to be on call according to a shift previously scheduled;
• Available to travel throughout the country for short periods;

The ideal candidate will need to be based in Sicily (Catania/Siracusa/Ragusa) to support BD ROWA plants in the region and willing to travel 70% of the time throughout Italy to support colleagues for installations, maintenance, services, commissioning.

An initial technical training course on BD Rowa systems could be planned in Germany at the company's production site.

Our target base salary range for this role is between
€30,000 and €32,000
per year, complemented by a competitive bonus structure and a comprehensive benefits package.
