Responsabilities
The role involves the technical coordination of the project, acting as an interface between all internal and external technical disciplines, the partners involved in the project, and the Client.
* Provides technical support during the order acquisition phase, with the aim of highlighting-together with the Product Masters-any critical issues and deviations from standard design
* Participates in the review of contractual technical specifications and in the technical alignment of offers
* Contributes to defining timelines within the contractual scheduling
* Acts as a technical interface with the customer (including meetings)
* Manages the planning of individual project positions in terms of timing and assignment of internal and external activities
* Monitors the progress of internal and external design activities
* Coordinates the activities of various company departments (mechanical, plant engineering, project management & purchasing offices)
* Supports the purchasing department regarding the acceptability of commercial components
* Oversees compliance with project timelines and quality standards
* Interfaces with the Safety department to coordinate design activities required to meet standards
* Provides technical support to the construction site during the implementation phase
Technical Requirements
* The candidate must hold a degree in engineering (preferably mechanical or management engineering) and have 1 to 3 years of experience working on medium to large-scale plant projects.
* Previous work experience in technical roles within the steel industry will be considered a plus.
* The candidate must have both written and spoken proficiency in Italian and English and be familiar with key software applications such as the Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD, and Inventor.
Soft Skills
* Ability and habit of working in a team, with strong interpersonal skills aimed at group management.
* Availability to travel.
