Space Mushroom is looking for a talented Motion Graphic Designer to boost the growth of its mobile apps, which reach over one million downloads every month in the Apple App Store and Google Play stores.

Who we are

We are a fast-growing startup founded in 2021. In just a few years, we've built a diverse portfolio of mobile apps ranging from interior design and drawing software to photo and video editing and music. Our flagship products include Tayasui Sketches, Sweet Home 3D, Photo Eraser, and Whatsticker. Today, our products reach millions of users every month, and our goal is to keep scaling rapidly by building an outstanding team to fuel this growth.

Some of your key responsibilities

  • Design static and animated assets for our apps, social media, and web channels.
  • Create short videos and animations for app previews and campaigns.
  • Experiment with graphics and videos to see what engages users and improve performance over time.
  • Keep a consistent and creative visual style across all our brands and channels.
  • Manage multiple projects at once, using problem-solving skills to prioritize effectively and find creative solutions when challenges come up.
  • Collaborate with freelancers when needed to scale asset production.

Who you are

  • A creative professional with strong graphic and motion design skills.
  • Experience in designing and animating short-form video content.
  • Comfortable illustrating and working with digital drawing tools (e.g. Procreate or similar).
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially After Effects), with familiarity in Figma.
  • Knowledgeable about social media content best practices.
  • Open to feedback and able to turn insights and data into stronger creative work.

Contract

Internship.

The selection process

We'll start with a CV and portfolio screening, to check how your experience and skills match the role.

You'll then be asked to complete a technical exercise to test your graphic and motion graphic skills.

Next, there will be a behavioral interview, where we'll get to know your working style and past experiences.

Finally, there will be a business case interview, designed to evaluate your analytical and reasoning abilities.
