We Are seek a
Mid-Senior DevOps Engineer
to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between infrastructure, development and security. You will not only manage our cloud infrastructure via code but also actively support the architectural design of cloud-native solutions and design robust network topologies. Y
our focus will be on Microsoft Azure and Red Hat OpenShift, managed strictly via Terraform and GitLab CI.
What will help you succeed:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage and provision Azure resources using Terraform. You will be responsible for state management, module creation, and ensuring our infrastructure is reproducible.
• Cloud-Native Implementation: Manage and configure Azure PaaS services, specifically Azure Functions and Azure Web Apps (App Service). You will assist development teams in optimizing runtime settings, scaling rules, and integration with other Azure services.
• Network Architecture & Security: Design and maintain the Azure networking layer. This includes configuring VNETs, Subnets, Private Endpoints, Azure Firewall, Application Gateways.
• Kubernetes & OpenShift Operations: Manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters (or AKS). You will oversee cluster health, upgrades, namespaces, and resource quotas.
• GitLab CI/CD: Design and optimize complex CI/CD pipelines preferably using GitLab or RedHat CICD. You will automate the build, test, and deployment lifecycles for our applications.
• Scripting & Automation: Utilize Python or Bash to script operational tasks and build internal tooling to support development teams.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices (DevSecOps), managing secrets (Key Vault), Network Security Groups (NSGs), and RBAC controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• IaC Mastery: knowledge of Terraform in a production environment.
• Azure Cloud Development: Proven experience creating and managing Azure Functions (Serverless) and Web Apps. Ability to troubleshoot runtime issues and configure auto-scaling.
• Azure Networking: Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and Azure specifics: Private Links, VNET peering, VPN Gateways.
• Container Platform: Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift or enterprise Kubernetes. You should be comfortable with oc commands and OpenShift web console.
• CI/CD: Deep proficiency with GitLab CI (runners, .gitlab- configuration, pipelines).
• OS Knowledge: Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL/CentOS preferred).

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work autonomously.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves

• Language: Italian speaking proficiency.
• Fluent English (C1 or B2 - Upper Intermediate).
• Development: Python development capabilities (beyond basic scripting).
• Certifications: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift (EX280) or HashiCorp Terraform Associate.

• Bachelor's degree in banking and finance, business administration, information technology Anti-money laundering and compliance systems or similar degrees.
• AML Knowledge, in particularly in the areas of Name Screening, Suspicious transaction reporting (STR), Knowledge of the customer (KYC), Continuous monitoring.
• The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to interact with stakeholders at different levels, and previous experience working on complex projects in the financial services industry.
