Job Title: Transport Team Lead
Location: Lainate, Via Clerici
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Reporting to: Customer Service & Logistics Director Europe
This role coordinates day-to-day activities of the transport planning team to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods across the European FMCG network. Acts as the first point of contact for operational escalations and ensures alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
Your core responsibilities at a glance:- Coordinate the daily workload and priorities of the transport planning team.
- Monitor transport execution and act as the escalation point for critical delivery issues.
- Support the onboarding and performance management of transport carriers and 3PLs.
- Track key logistics KPIs and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company logistics policies.
- Facilitate collaboration between transport planners, warehouses, customer service, and supply planning.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement in transport processes.
- Support system updates, documentation, and training within the transport team.

Required skills:
- Experience in FMCG sector
- Transport Management Systems (TMS), e.g., SAP TM, Oracle
- Excel and transport tracking tools
- Professional proficiency in English, Italian is a plus
- Solid knowledge of European transportation practices and logistics processes.
- Able to manage priorities and resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field.
- Relevant Experience: 5+ Years
- Experience working in a regional logistics team
- Experience leading or supporting teams in an operational environment.
