C# Back-End Developer
to strengthen both the hub and our partner companies.

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced C# Back-End Developer to work on high-performance, production-grade systems operating in demanding, real-time environments. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining backend services that power trading, payment, and infrastructure platforms used at scale.

You will contribute to mission-critical systems where reliability, throughput, and low latency are essential. Working closely with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams, you will help translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.

What will you do?
You will design and evolve backend components that sit at the core of modern financial and digital asset platforms. Your work will involve building scalable services, integrating with internal and external systems, and continuously improving performance and stability.

This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, attention to detail, and comfort operating in fast-paced, production-heavy environments.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, reliable backend systems using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and real-time data pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with product, trading, and infrastructure teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Optimize system performance and ensure stability in high-throughput, low-latency contexts.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best engineering practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared technical standards.
• Proactively identify performance bottlenecks, bugs, and architectural issues, proposing and implementing improvements.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support infrastructure automation efforts.

Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate for this role has:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience developing backend systems in C#/.NET.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and distributed systems.
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Solid knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort taking ownership and operating in fast-moving, production-oriented environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial systems, trading platforms, or payment infrastructures.
• Exposure to real-time data processing or event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud-native or containerized environments.

Work Arrangements
This is a hybrid position, with office days at the Blox Space Innovation Hub in Turin.
