PLM Engineer

Job Title: PLM Engineer

Location: Levico Terme (TN)

PLM Engineer manages and monitors the entire product lifecycle, from design to industrialisation and maintenance.

They actively collaborate with key business functions (Technical Department, Planning, Purchasing, Production, Support, Sales), ensuring the alignment of technical information and development times.

This role is fundamental for updating and ensuring the consistency of product data in company systems, guaranteeing the correct flow of information between engineering and production.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product development planning, ensuring the correct synchronisation of industrialisation with other company departments;
• Create, manage and maintain technical information in the system, ensuring its correct transfer to Planning, Purchasing, Sales and Technical Support;
• Define and improve the processes of information creation and exchange, both within the technical area and towards other company areas.

Activities

•  Creation and management of material master data, bills of materials and configurators in SAP;
• Analysis and definition of information exchange processes between the technical area and business functions;
• Support for the analysis, consultation and use of data in the system;
• Organisation of and participation in periodic cross-functional alignment meetings on product development;
• Optimisation of SAP management software and other support tools.

Must have

• Technical education: diploma or bachelor's degree (preferably in Management Engineering or Industrial Engineering);
• Experience in using ERP management systems in manufacturing contexts;
• Strong skills in gathering, managing and transferring information;
• Analytical skills, initiative and a proactive approach;
• Aptitude for innovation and continuous improvement;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Good knowledge of English (level B2).

Nice to have

•  Knowledge of SAP
