Job Role: Lead Hardware Design Engineer

Location: Castel Bolognese, Emilia-Romagna, Italy

Employment Type: Permanent / Contract

Description:

Required:

  • Develop comprehensive electrical design packages, including detailed electrical and pneumatic schematics, panel layouts, bills of materials and material requisitions, based on Client standard specifications and the customers' requirements.
  • Verify that electrical design package is complete, accurate and safe by applying sound design practices and accepted standards, and that the I/O drawings meet program requirements prior to issue to shop floor.
  • Work with project managers, designers and electricians to solve problems during manufacturing of machinery in order to provide the customer with a complete, functional system.
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Client Code of Business Conduct.
  • Have thorough knowledge of machine safety standards like IEC-EN60204 etc. and be able to apply the same in the Design.
  • Will be responsible for all the client project documents like check list, Compliance and Traceability Matrix, Compliance Checklist, Overtemperature Calculation and Test Electrical Safety (TES) etc.
