Job description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our growing team in the solar photovoltaic industry. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for driving sales of solar modules by developing new business opportunities and implementing innovative projects in the PV sector. An innovative mindset is paramount for this position: you potential project portfolio spans from the aerospace sector to the marine industry. You will experience and handle the whole project cycle, from origination to closing.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in project management of technical products, preferably within the solar industry, and possess strong communication, and interpersonal skills, be strongly goal-oriented, have entrepreneurial skills and interact well with all sorts of people. Furthermore, have a proven ability to achieve sales targets through originate innovative projects, with independent initiative and strategic customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

· Identify and pursue new project/sales opportunities where flexible solar modules are advantageous

· Develop and expand the Italian market customer base

· Break down company sales objectives into actionable plans; implement, monitor, and evaluate the own performance, achieve sales targets and increase market share independently.

· Coordinate effectively with internal departments including production and technical teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

· Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and relevant policy changes; provide timely internal feedback to support strategic decisions.

· Represent Midsummer Italia at major industry exhibitions and summits; strengthen brand visibility and build relationships with potential customers

Requirements and skills:

· Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering

· At least 3 years of sales experience/project management of technical products, with some experience in the photovoltaic sector

· Strong understanding of the Photovoltaic market and the energy market

· Strong interest for innovative technical products

· Self leadership – a proven ability to independently develop and manage client accounts and reach set up goals independently

· Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and cross-functional coordination skills.

· Strongly goal-oriented and sense of initiative

· Good preparing and presentation skills

· Proactiveness and entrepreneurial skill

· Interact well with all sorts of people

· Orderly and good at mathematics

· Strong understanding of international solar energy policies, market trends, product demands, and industry standards.

· Minimum B2 level of English
