Who are we looking for?

We are searching for a jointing standard engineer who supports the setting up of a system built to verify, harmonize and control the Jointing installation process in the execution of the projects in terms of procedures, software and tools within the installation department.

Your Role:

  • Unify and harmonize
    Jointing Procedures & Jointing Tools
    .
  • Support the development of new tools required for the Jointing activities.
  • Set up and manage a system to unify and harmonize the Jointing
    Certification processes
    .
  • Creation and implementation of procedures for LinkUp application.
  • Manage and control in the use of the LinkUp application in the Powerlink installation sites.
  • Support in the creation of projects in SAP environment mainly focused International project.
  • Assistance to jointers/supervisors in the use of the VR&AR system at installation sites and laboratories.
  • Constantly support the spread of the Jointing Standards within the HV functions of Prysmian affiliates, by actively promoting exchange of technical information, experiences, good practices.
  • Make
    periodical visits to jointing and land installation sites
    of Prysmian affiliates to monitor the spread of the Company Standards across the Group.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in engineering (preferred), Economics or Scientific disciplines or equivalent school level.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Understanding of templates, macros, and styles.
  • Preferable knowledge of drawing software like Autodesk AutoCAD/Inventor.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP data base.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in spoken and written English.
  • 1 to 3 years working experience in a medium-large worldwide organization.
