Machine Learning EngineerOur team applies advanced analytics—including machine learning, quantitative algorithms, and data mining techniques—to deliver business insights and solve complex problems across the organization. We are actively involved throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial design to final implementation. Our stakeholders span all areas of the bank, including business, risk, retail, and corporate banking.The RoleAs a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust, production codebase that supports the creation and implementation of ML models. You will train, deploy, and monitor machine learning models tailored to various business needs. Additionally, you will develop tools to enhance data accessibility and support a more data-driven organization.Required Qualifications3+ years of professional experience with Python in production environmentsStrong proficiency with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, numpy)Experience with PySpark for large-scale data processingSolid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles and Git workflowsProven experience deploying and maintaining ML models in productionStrong data handling and feature engineering skillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related fieldPreferred QualificationsActive portfolio of public projects on GitHub/Azure or similar platformsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, MLOps tools)Experience in the financial services or banking sectorKnowledge of model risk management and regulatory requirementsDuration: PermanentLocation: Milan (hybrid)About INGING offers many opportunities to build a diverse and rewarding career.
