About Seed-XSeed-X is an innovative, high-growth AgTech company revolutionizing the AgriTech industry.We leverage proprietary AI, machine vision and deep learning algorithms to analyze seeds at the individual level, providing unmatched insights into genetic purity, quality and germination potential.Our technology enables breeders and producers to drastically improve seed quality, increase yields and ensure a more secure and sustainable food future.Join us as we transform the global seed and grain supply chain.The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated, ambitious and results-driven Area Sales Manager to spearhead the growth and adoption of Seed-X's cutting-edge AI technology within the vital Italian vegetable seed markets.This is a hunter role for a hands-on, commercially astute individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.You will be the face of Seed-X in your assigned territory, responsible for driving sales of our advanced seed analysis and sorting solutions to leading seed companies, breeders and producers.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Execution: develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for Seed-X's AI-powered solutions in the assigned country (France or Italy)Customer Acquisition: proactively identify, target and secure new business opportunities with major seed companies and vegetable breedersTechnical Sales & Product Champion: become an expert on the AI-powered sorting platforms and articulate complex technical and value propositions clearly to both commercial and technical stakeholders (R&D, Production and Quality Control)Relationship Management: build and maintain strong, long-lasting and trusting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the target marketMarket Intelligence: conduct deep market analysis to understand customer needs, competitive landscapes and emerging trends in vegetable seed and AgTech in your areaReporting & CRM: utilize CRM software (e.g. HubSpot) rigorously to manage the entire sales pipeline, forecast accurately and report on all sales activities and territory performance to senior managementCollaboration: work closely with the R&D and Marketing teams to provide on-ground customer feedback for continuous product and service improvementProfessional ExperienceRequired Skills & QualificationsSales Orientation: young, ambitious and sales oriented person ideally with a focus on high-value B2B technical solutionsIndustry Expertise (Major Plus): direct sales experience within the vegetable seed industry (e.g. selling vegetable seeds, crop protection or related services) or Agri-Technology (AgTech) is a significant advantageTech Savvy: strong understanding of new technologies, AI/data and the ability to sell a technical, data-driven product rather than a commodityCRM Proficiency: knowledge and daily use of a major CRM platform (e.g. HubSpot) for pipeline management and forecastingLanguage Requirements (Critical)Native or professional fluency in Italian is mandatoryFluent professional English is mandatoryPersonal AttributesExceptional Communication: awesome presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse client profiles, from farm managers to C-level executivesSelf-Starter & Young/Ambitious: highly energetic, self-motivated and able to work autonomously in a remote setup with an entrepreneurial mindset to drive market penetrationTravel: willingness to travel within the assigned country to meet clients, attend industry events and conduct on-site product demonstrationsEducation: a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, Marketing or a related technical field is preferredWhy Join Seed-X?Be a Pioneer: Work at the intersection of AI and agriculture, selling a proprietary technology that is fundamentally changing how the world grows food.High Impact Role: directly influence the company's growth and the adoption of next-generation AgTech in key European markets.Competitive Compensation: receive a highly competitive salary, commission structure and benefits package.#J-*****-Ljbffr
