About the job Deck Construction Superintendent - (Offshore) - Energy, Oil & Gas ProjectHill International provides program, project, and construction management services for clients in a range of sectors undertaking major construction projects across the world.Our services include cost engineering and estimating, quality assurance, inspection, scheduling, risk management, and claims avoidance.For more information on Hill, please visit our website atJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deck Construction Superintendent to join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee all aspects of deck construction on major projects in the MENA and Europe regionsCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of decks and other structuresDevelop and implement construction plans and schedules, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgetMonitor and track project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or delaysEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and company policiesManage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality workmanship and timely delivery of materialsConduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being carried out according to plans and specificationsCommunicate with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concernsMentor and train junior staff members on construction techniques and best practicesQualificationsBachelor Degree from an accredited universityWork experience of 8+ years in the sought discipline after earning the university degreeCandidates must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in offshore projects.Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports.
