D4Next is an independent software vendor and fintech innovator.We help traditional insurers and industry players rethink their growth strategies and unlock new business models through legacy system modernization.Our platform YOGA is an Agility Insurance Platform (AI-P) designed to manage the full range of use cases in the insurance ecosystem, optimizing workflows and decision-making through AI-powered capabilities.With offices in Milan and Turin, we foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment where engineers can thrive and continuously expand their skills.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Full-Stack Software Engineer.You will join our core platform team, a highly skilled engineering group responsible for the evolution and maintenance of our main platform.We are looking for a technology enthusiast with genuine curiosity for cloud-native technologies and future-proof architectures.We offer flexible working arrangements: you can work remotely, use co-working spaces in Turin and/or Milan, or combine both according to your preference.Once a month, the entire team meets in person in Turin for a collaborative co-working day.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable frontend user interfaces and backend systemsWork within a multidisciplinary Scrum team alongside frontend developers, backend developers, UX experts, and business analystsCoach and mentor junior developers, collaborating with the team leader to identify appropriate tasks for their growthStay up to date with the latest and emerging technologies, with 10% of working time dedicated to training and professional developmentQualificationsAt least 2 years of experience in developing scalable and high-performance web applications, including the adoption of Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum)Experience with microservices frameworks such as Quarkus (preferred), Micronaut, or Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, using Kotlin (preferred) or Java 8+Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows such as trunk-based developmentKeen interest in the latest technological trends such as micro-frontends, distributed systems architectures, and AI-powered development tools (e.g., agentic AI, Claude, Copilot)Results-driven mentality with strong time management and cross-functional collaboration skills, and a focus on continuous growthStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; a PhD is considered a preferential qualificationBenefitsCompany laptop and equipment, with choice of platform (Mac/Windows/Linux)Conference attendance, training, certification, and books/courses budgetPaid parental leaveCompany events and social activitiesD4Next is an equal opportunity employer.We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or age.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesSoftware Development#J-*****-Ljbffr
