Role Project Manager – Helmets at AlpinestarsAbout Alpinestars Alpinestars is the leading global performance motorsports apparel, protection and footwear manufacturer.For over 60 years the company has been providing the world's best athletes and motorsports enthusiasts in the pursuit of performance excellence with the most technologically advanced products that fuse protection, performance, innovation and style.PositionWe are currently looking for a Project Manager – Helmets to join our R&D Department and play a pivotal role in the product development process from inception to bulk production.In this role you will be responsible for the timely delivery, cost management and product compliance with Alpinestars' quality and innovation standards for various projects within the Helmets Division, working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders at the international level.Main ResponsibilitiesLead product development and improvement projects from concept through bulk production, ensuring compliance with company quality, safety and performance standards.Define and monitor project timelines, budgets and deliverables in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Provide cross-functional feedback, assess risks and resolve issues or potential blockers throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate internal teams such as Design, CAD, Testing and Sourcing, and work closely with Asian suppliers for tooling, sampling and production alignment.Track project phases and milestones, maintaining accurate documentation including Bills of Materials, technical information, certification documents, testing reports and technical drawings.Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimisation tactics.RequirementsBachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related field.At least 3 years of experience managing complex product development projects, preferably in consumer goods or mobility sectors, with a strong focus on timelines, budget management and technical delivery.Solid knowledge of tooling, industrialisation and supplier management, especially with Asian manufacturing partners.Excellent communication and coordination skills for smooth cross-functional collaboration in an international environment.Proficiency with PLM Centric, MS Project and Excel.Structured, proactive mindset with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Fluency in English.Willingness to travel periodically to suppliers and production sites in Asia.#J-*****-Ljbffr
