Senior Finance ManagerLocation : IMI STI, Via Dei Caravaggi, ******** Levate (BG), ItalySalary: Competitive, DOE + Bonus Scheme (Target 15%, with potential for higher earnings based on performance) + Company CarContract : Full time, PermanentIMI plc is a global specialist engineering company that thrives on solving complex challenges.We design, build, and service highly engineered products in fluid and motion control applications across five key sectors: Industrial Automation, Process Automation, Climate Control, Life Science and Fluid Control, and Transport.We curiously innovate, solve complex problems, and partner with our customers to deliver sustainable solutions that make a lasting impact on businesses, people, and the planet.Within our Instrumentation business, we deliver market-leading fluid control products for the world's toughest environments from offshore oil and gas platforms to chemical plants and refineries.Our advanced technologies include actuators, positioners, solenoid valves, air preparation systems, and cutting-edge Industrial IoT monitoring solutions.We are now recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager to assume responsibility for overseeing all financial, administrative and compliance activities of the company.You will lead a multidisciplinary team across Finance, Shopping and Logistics (within Accounts Receivable), and IT.As our Senior Finance Manager, you will:Oversee end-to-end financial closing processes and ensure timely submission of reports.Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with Italian GAAP.Manage group reporting processes and deliver accurate management accounts, forecasts, and budgets.Conduct margin and variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.Maintain a robust internal control environment and act as the primary owner of internal controls.Liaise with auditors and manage tax governance for direct and indirect tax filings.Champion process improvement and standardization, including authoring and enforcing SOPs.Collaborate with IT on data integrity, system integration, and ERP implementation projects.Implement credit control policies and manage cash flow forecasting to optimize working capital.Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, setting clear goals and managing performance.Oversee training and development to ensure a skilled and adaptable workforce.Manage team resources, including holiday approvals and absence management.Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.In order to be successful in this role you must have / be:Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential.Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; Master's degree preferred.At least 4 years' experience in a relevant manufacturing company.Proven track record in a senior finance management role within an international manufacturing or industrial environment.Expert knowledge of Italian GAAP and strong working knowledge of IFRS.Demonstrable experience in financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Strong technical skills in working capital, treasury, and credit management.Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., IFS, SAP, Zucchetti, Cognos, EFACS, or similar).Full professional proficiency in English and Italian (written and spoken).Why Join IMI?At IMI, we believe in creating lasting impact.We're curious, innovative, and driven by outcomes that matter – for business, for life, and for a better world.Join us and be part of a team that values your leadership, supports your growth, and celebrates your success.IMI is an inclusive employer; diversity is very important to us, and we welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role click on " APPLY " todayNo agencies please.
