Satellite IVVQ RF ENGINEERJoin to apply for the Satellite IVVQ RF ENGINEER role at Thales.1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants.A Joint Venture between Thales (67%) and Leonardo (33%), Thales Alenia Space is a global space manufacturer delivering, for more than 40 years, high-tech solutions for telecommunications, navigation, Earth Observation, environmental management, exploration, science and orbital infrastructures.Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators) therefore have Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.We are looking for a Satellite IVVQ RF ENGINEER.ResponsibilitiesTechnical requirements management – Knowledge of technical requirements management from specification tree to relationships between the various layers of a complex system (platform, payload, satellite, E2E).Familiarity with DOORS or Polarion, flow-down concepts, traceability, change/deviation impact analysis and related documentation.Familiarity with ECSS standard and project development documentation.Verification Engineering – Differentiation between verification plans for qualification or acceptance, knowledge of various verification approaches in EM/EQM development models, QM qualification, PFM proto-qualification, FM acceptance/flight.Definition of verification methods applicable to each requirement (SAR payload part, PDHT, TT&C).Familiarity with DOORS/Polarion and engineering practices for verification activities.Support management of internal and customer-facing boards for verification validation.Test requirements and evaluation of results – Ability to define test requirements, test plan (TP) in SAR, PDHT, TT&C integrated satellite level, manage any changes.Participation in the test campaign, including overseas.Test validation with drafting of evaluation reports.Supporting completion and closure of the verification cycle.QualificationsEducation: Engineering Degree.Experience required in radiofrequency systems, particularly Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), on-board image storage and transmission (PDHT), RF command and control (TT&C) systems, preferably in the satellite area.LocationRomeAbout UsAt Thales Alenia Space we provide careers, not just jobs.With around 8,900 employees in 10 countries, our mobility policy enables career development at home and abroad.Thales Alenia Space sees space as a new horizon, helping to build a better, more sustainable life on Earth.#SpaceForLife#J-*****-Ljbffr
