Hyatt Thompson Rome is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Chef de Rang / Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage outlets.The ideal candidate will maintain positive guest and colleague interactions, building strong working relationships while ensuring excellent customer service.With a natural flair for lifestyle hospitality and strong communication skills, the Chef de Rang works closely with outlet colleagues in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of our guests.Key Responsibilities- Seat, take orders, and serve food and beverages to guests according to established sequence and procedures- Present menus, answer guest inquiries, and make recommendations regarding food, beverage, and service- Clear and reset tables at the conclusion of each course- Maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation, and service throughout operations- Be fully conversant with all aspects of the Micros system- Demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of all food and beverage items on the menu, and the ability to recommend combinations and upsell alternativesGuest Experience & Service- Provide a welcoming and professional service to guests during breakfast, lunch, and dinner- Support special events and high-volume service periods- Ensure compliance with service and hygiene standards at all times- Promote a guest-focused and service-driven culture within the outletCandidate Profile- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related hospitality environment- High standards of personal presentation and grooming- Ability to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure and objectivity- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset- Fluent in Italian and EnglishAdditional Requirements- Strong knowledge of menu items and beverage offerings- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment- Flexible and supportive team player with a positive attitude
