Corporate Counsel, AWS Sales & MarketingJob ID: | AWS EMEA SARL (Italy Branch)Amazon's Legal Department is seeking a talented cloud services/IT lawyer to support Amazon Web Services (AWS) in selling to commercial and public sector customers across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, with a primary focus on Italy.AWS leads the cloud computing industry, offering IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database services, and more to private and public sector clients.Key job responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will draft, negotiate, and advise on strategic technology service agreements with enterprise, public sector customers, and partners.They will also provide legal support for local and regional services and initiatives, offering ongoing legal counsel and regulatory guidance to senior executives and team members on product development, operations, security, compliance, data protection, and public policy matters.The role involves managing legal issues in existing relationships and handling inquiries from customers and business partners.The ideal candidate will be proactive, entrepreneurial, enjoy challenges, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate pragmatic judgment in ambiguous situations.This position is based in Rome, Italy, with some regional and international travel required.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSQualified to practice law in Italy.7+ years of significant post-qualification legal experience.Experience in a law firm, government, or in-house at a technology company.Transactional experience, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and supporting Italian government/public sector procurement.Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.Enthusiastic, quick learner, self-motivated, able to work independently, and demonstrate sound judgment in challenging situations.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and telecommunications policies, laws, and regulations.Experience with IT transactions, including service agreements.Experience engaging with policymakers, regulators, government officials, system integrators, prime contractors, subcontractors, and resellers.Understanding of EU government/public sector procurement processes and laws.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity.We value your experience and skills and prioritize your privacy and data security.For accommodations during the application process, please visitthis link.#J-*****-Ljbffr
