Overview As a Project and Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of Data Center projects by maintaining continuous communication with the Project Director, addressing project progress and concerns during the pre-construction phase, between the authorization and design phases, and by managing the technical coordination of the design and permitting activities.ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with the Project Director continuously regarding project progress and areas of concern.Advise Project Director of any foreseeable slippage of progress and propose corrective actions.Review and initial PM assessment of monthly progress invoices.Assess changes and report recommendations to the Project Director.Attend Executive meetings, weekly Progress meetings, Quality meetings and ensure weekly technical meetings are attended by all relevant disciplines.Advise Construction Manager on any potential variation to scope of work, which may generate cost or time impact, and present PM assessment.Review and monitor design activities and permitting.Ensure Contractor compliance with contractual obligations concerning design changes, Trend Notices, etc.Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and progress; inform Project Director of findings and corrective actions.Lead the PM team to evaluate all Requests for Information from the Contractor and communicate with the Design Consultant in a timely manner if necessary.QualificationsUniversity Degree in Engineering or Architecture.A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction.Experience in a multinational environment or in project management in construction is an asset.Professional accreditation as (PMI/PRINCE/AGILE or equivalent, LEED or BREEAM) is a plus.Fluency in Italian and English.Experience in the construction of large-scale data centers is recommended.Driving license is mandatory.PackageThe Company offers a competitive remuneration package and possibilities of career development within a dynamic working environment.EEO StatementHill is an equal opportunity employer Minorities/ Female/ Veterans/ Disabled employer offering competitive compensation, excellent benefits and an exciting and challenging culture.DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Project Management and Information TechnologyIndustries: Civil Engineering, Construction, and Business Consulting and ServicesNoteReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Hill International, Inc. and notifications about new Senior Construction Project Manager jobs in Milan, Lombardy, Italy may be available.#J-*****-Ljbffr
