Contract: PermanentLocation: Milan/Rome (frequent travel across Italy)Starting Date: ASAPDriving Licence: RequiredPosition OverviewThe Head of Project Development Italy is responsible for leading all photovoltaic (PV) project development activities across Italy.This senior role involves managing a national team of project managers, contributing to the company's development strategy, and representing the organization with key external stakeholders and authorities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and develop a team of project managers across ItalyOversee the PV project pipeline and optimize resource allocationDefine and implement the PV development strategy in coordination with senior management and origination teamsSupervise end-to-end project development, including site assessment, permitting, grid connection, and financial evaluationEnsure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and internal requirementsMonitor project timelines and budgets, proactively managing risks and bottlenecksCoordinate with internal teams (engineering, legal, finance)Represent the company before public authorities and key stakeholders (Regions, GSE, DSO/TSO)Provide regular reporting to top managementCandidate ProfileUniversity degree in engineering, renewable energy, environmental sciences, business, or related fields8–10 years of experience in renewable energy, including leadership roles in project developmentStrong knowledge of the Italian PV market, regulatory framework, and permitting processesProven leadership, strategic, and organizational skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesFluency in Italian and EnglishWillingness to travel frequently within ItalyAt Axpo Group, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of non-discrimination, tolerance, and inclusion.As an equal opportunity employer, we welcome applications regardless of race and ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, as well as socioeconomic, cultural, and religious background.We are committed to ensuring a respectful and inclusive recruiting process and workplace for everyone.#J-*****-Ljbffr
