Hi, if you are passionate about the use of Extracellular Vesicles as biomarker in cancer we have a position open here in Pavia to help us on a new exciting project.Open PositionPost-Doc Researcher - Nanomedicine and Molecular Imaging Laboratory - Istituti Clinici Scientifici Maugeri IRCCSDuration12 months (renewable)Start DateJanuary ****ProjectExtracellular Vesicle-Based Molecular Signatures for Personalizing Neoadjuvant Treatment in Triple Negative Breast Cancer (EV-PREDICT)Funded by FRRB under the program From Bed to Bench : The Way to InnovationResearch ObjectiveThe research will focus on studying extracellular vesicles (EVs) as predictive biomarkers for response to neoadjuvant therapy in breast cancer.This involves isolating and characterizing EVs derived from biological matrices with varying levels of complexity, such as plasma, tissues, and PDOs (patient-derived organoids), in order to develop predictive models for patients with triple-negative breast cancer.Main ActivitiesCollection and processing of tissue and blood samplesDerivation and culture of patient-derived tumor organoidsHistological and biochemical characterization of organoids and tumor tissuesAnalysis of EVs from biological fluids and culture mediumData analysis and interpretationRequirementsPhD in Biology, Biotechnology, or related fieldsExpertise in cell culture, biochemical and histological techniquesExperience in the analysis of biological fluids and biomarkersAbility to work in multidisciplinary teamsIf you are interested, learn more about our group's activities here and contact us at: ;#J-*****-Ljbffr
