Join to apply for theCloud Architectrole atGenerali.We are looking for a highly experiencedCloud Architectto join our Data Analytics & Automation Platforms team in the Global Digital Factory Division in GOSP Generali.The Cloud Architect will lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring scalable, efficient cloud solutions.This role involves managing complex environments and coordinating with various teams to achieve technical excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and servicesDevelop, manage, and standardize CI/CD processes for diverse applications and languages, automating infrastructure provisioning using TerraformOversee and support customer environments in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), adhering to IaC best practicesLead and coordinate development teams to ensure modular design, scalability, performance, and operabilityCreate and maintain reusable Terraform modules for efficient IaC deploymentBuild and sustain highly available systems on Kubernetes or similar infrastructural frameworksMaintain and develop systems using native serverless services of respective cloud platformsExpertise in Git versioning tools (e.g., GitLab, AWS CodeCommit)Automate routine tasks to enhance efficiency and consistencyRequirementsOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:At least 4 years of working experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and TerraformStrong background in Linux/Unix administrationStrong background in Software EngineeringExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab Pipelines, or similarExperience with Docker and VirtualizationStrong understanding of system and networking concepts and troubleshooting techniquesProficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShellPreferred QualificationsCertifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and TerraformExperience in Agile methodologies and practicesStrong communication skills and ability to explain protocols and processes with the team and managementStrategic thinking and problem-solving abilitySenior Level ExpectationsManage and optimize existing infrastructureCoordinate effectively with internal and external teams, overseeing multiple aspects of the project and infrastructureProvide leadership and direction in high-stakes environmentsDemonstrate advanced technical proficiency and decision-making skillsCompany ProfileGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry – a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.Over almost 200 years, we have built a multinational Group that is present in more than 60 countries, with 470 companies and nearly 80,000 employees.GOSP - Generali Operations Service Platform is a joint-venture between Generali and Accenture and provides IT and Procurement services to Generali Group companies.Our purpose is to accelerate the Group's innovation and digitization strategy through the Cloud and shared platforms.Based in Italy it has 5 branches across Europe and employs about ***** people.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation Technology, Consulting, and EngineeringIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting, Software Development, and Computer and Network SecurityReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Generali by 2xGet notified about new Cloud Architect jobs inRome, Latium, Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
