SUMMARY OF ROLEProject Manager is responsible for handling company's ongoing projects. She/he will work closely with project team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIESThe Project Manager is responsible for managing the scope of work allocated, completing within the time, budget and cash targets, whilst optimizing the margin for the company. She/he is also responsible for:initiate a project: develop a Project Execution Strategy, ensuring resource availability and allocation; develop a detail overall project schedule (plan), updating it to reflect progress and optimize work and resolve problems;use appropriate metrics (including financial) to track project performances;coordinate all activities for the allocated scope including engineering, procurement & logistics, erection and commissioning;manage claims and change order to/from customers and sub-suppliers during project execution;manage the relationship / communication with the client and all stakeholdersmanagement of risks and opportunities by the implementation of appropriate action plans with the aim to minimize project risks and improving the project margin;create and maintain comprehensive project documentation according to the company procedure & processesreport and escalate to management as needed.EDUCATIONDegree in Engineering and/or Business Management or High school graduationSpecific knowledge and skillsAs a project manager, it is requested to follow a standard process, as defined by the Project management Institute (refer to table 1).
