About CompanyMainStreaming is an intelligent media delivery company that empowers enterprises, media, and gaming companies to ensure the best Quality of Experience to their audience, through its revolutionary AI-powered technology.It optimizes the viewing experience with its Intelligent Media Deliver Platform (iMDP), the first platform designed to guarantee full governance over the streaming process, the highest Quality of Service, and the best Return on Investment.For our brand-new office located in Milano Bicocca we are looking for a : Senior Network Operations EngineerJob Description : We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Operations Engineer to oversee capacity planning and ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure.This role requires expertise in the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of all network devices, connections, links, peerings, and BGPs, as well as the ability to design resilient network architectures.LocationRome, ItalyKey ResponsibilitiesConfigure, monitor, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.Manage and/or optimize network connections, peerings, and BGP routing.Implement and maintain network configurations to optimize performance and security.Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and resolve performance issues.Conduct regular reviews of routing policies and update as necessary to ensure optimal traffic flow.Conduct capacity planning to ensure the network can handle future growth and increased traffic.Execute network upgrades and expansions based on capacity requirements.Develop strategies to optimize network capacity and performance.Implement network architectures that ensure high availability, redundancy, and resiliency.Evaluate and deploy solutions to improve network fault tolerance and minimize downtime.Collaborate with other teams to integrate resilient network designs into overall infrastructure.Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, topologies, and procedures.Generate detailed reports on network performance, capacity planning, and project status.Ensure all network documentation adheres to industry standards and best practices.Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in network engineering.Propose and implement improvements to network infrastructure and operations.Mentor junior network engineers and provide technical guidance.Manage and maintain relationships with other ISP and network suppliers.>Preferred experience with or exposure to CDN infrastructures.Education and ExperienceEducation : Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in Telco network operations and engineering.Skills : Deep knowledge of TCP / IP (LAN e WAN), routing IP v4 e v6, based on OSPF and BGP.Setup configuration and troubleshooting of network devices (Cisco and others) from scratch.Good knowledge of BASH scripting and Shell command.Advanced configuration of open-source network monitor utilities with custom scripts (common Linux script languages).Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and within a team.Strong communication and documentation skills.Certifications : CCNP or equivalent certification is mandatory.CCIE or equivalent certification is highly preferred.What We OfferA young, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment where to develop and grow.An innovative technology and service able to support the transition from traditional broadcasting to the streaming entertainment of the future.A growth path aimed at improving your professionalism.Breakfast, lunch and snacks in our office.Access to E-Learning platform.Health insurance.Salary and benefits will be assessed in relation to the candidate's experience and skills.In MainStreaming you will be part of a dynamic, flexible, young, tight-knit and international environment and will have the chance to work in a company that values innovation, out of the box thinking, its employees and is committed to making the world a better place.#J-*****-Ljbffr
