Trinasolar ISBU, a business unit of Trinasolar, is a utility-scale global solar power and battery storage solutions developer for international markets.With more than 15 years of professional experience and track records in project development, financing, EPC, and O&M, Trinasolar ISBU is committed to being a global leader in the development and management of smart renewable energy solutions and creating value for local stakeholders and international investors.We are active in more than 20 countries and regions.Join us as aProject Development Manager (PV and BESS)and be part of an exciting, challenging and dynamic work environment to proactively support the definition and implementation of the expansion strategy of the Project Business Unit in Italy through the origination, development and expansion of the PV and BESS Project opportunities, also including the establishment of global partnership, contacts and networking with developers, equity partners, off-takers and final consumers in the Region.Main ResponsibilitiesOriginate and develop new PV and BESS projects.Screen, filter and select project opportunities.Properly assess the commercial & contractual terms of each opportunity ensuring its economic viability.Also evaluating & understanding both the business and the financial model.Conduct the corresponding prefeasibility studies and assessments with respect to the opportunities.Ensure projects reach ready to build status by managing the relationship with the relevant stakeholders such as developers, authorities, landowners, grid operators, offtakers, advisors, etc.Link and work with local authorities, utility companies and private entities.Coordinate the tasks and inputs of the Engineering team as well as the supporting functions such as Legal, Tax, and Finance team – and eventually external advisors - during the development phase as well as during the acquisition and sale phase, if applicable.Lead negotiations and execution of land contracts with landowners and/or public authorities.Perform and implement the Financial and Business Memorandums (IC Memo) and manage all the required internal approval processes providing Management Information and ensuring the right level of control during deployment of the opportunities across the various stages (origination, development, construction and sale).Keep himself/herself timely and fully informed on any market development and industry news/events in order to quickly identify business opportunities.+ 5 years' experience in the development of renewable projects (Solar PV - AgroPV - BESS is a plus).Deep knowledge of the Italian PV and BESS sector, specific regulation and high development experience in the country of large-scale projects, medium and small projects as well of Solar PV and BESS facilities.Proven experience in negotiating and closing commercial transactions with landlords, developers, equity partners, final consumers (due diligence, acquisition, JVs, SPA contract negotiation , EPC Contracts, PLAs/Licenses for Solar Projects)Deep understanding of the permitting processes in Italy application and regulation.Proven experience in multinational environments and complex organizationsFluent English is mandatory; other languages are a plus.Skills and CompetencesStrong analytical skills, capable to focus on the more relevant topics prioritizing and to properly identify the key risks.Strong knowledge of Solar Business in Italy.Excellent Team-player, capable to actively support the fulfilment of team objectives with a clear supporter attitude.Flexible attitude, with the ability to effectively manage unexpected changes.Good communication skills, capable to communicate clearly and effectively and to manage executive communications.High motivated professional, able to work under pressure.#J-*****-Ljbffr
