Job Overview Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join AWS Infrastructure Services.The role supports the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring customers have continual access to cloud innovation.The technician will collaborate with software, hardware, network, supply chain, security, and operations teams to maintain safety, security, and capacity while driving network stability and automation.Key Responsibilities- Move and install large enterprise equipment and onsite systems.- Install fiber and copper cabling, patch cables, and terminate network connections.- Follow established hardware installation procedures and execute break-fix activities.- Maintain proper safety and security standards during cabling, rack installation, and equipment handling.- Use material handling tools and equipment safely and effectively.- Travel within and outside regional work area as required.Day in the LifeA network cabling technician installs, terminates, and tests network cables following detailed plans, maintaining strict safety and quality standards.The day involves working in various environments, managing tools and documentation, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a clean, well-organized cable infrastructure.Physical Requirements- Regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds; lift in groups for 41+ pounds.- Work 24/7; participate in primary responder rotation and after-hours support as needed.- Operate in cramped, elevated, noisy, and standing environments.- Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.- Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.Qualifications- Basic: Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds; knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment, and troubleshooting methodologies.- Preferred: Industry standard certifications (BICSI, CompTIA, CCENT, Network+).Location & SalaryUSA, IN, New Carlisle – ************* USD hourly.BenefitsAmazon offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental, vision, prescription, life & AD&D insurance, supplemental life plans, EAP, mental health support, flexible spending accounts, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.Learn more at .Equal OpportunityAmazon is an equal-opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Amazonians with disabilities can request accommodations during the application and hiring process.For more information, visit .#J-*****-Ljbffr
