About TMEIC Europe TMEIC drives industry around the world through a comprehensive offering of unique systems solutions including variable frequency drives, motors, generators, flywheels, photovoltaic inverters, BESS inverters and advanced automation systems for a wide range of industrial and energy applications.TMEIC was established in **** through the integration of the industrial systems divisions of Toshiba Corporation and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation.General Role DescriptionProvide Technical Advisory Services (TAS) to coordinate installation and commissioning activities for assigned projects while meeting project schedules and performance criteria.Role AccountabilitiesCommissioning, Warranty and Post-Sales ServiceGather pertinent information from authorized sources to assess project requirements as related to assigned scope of workCommissioning of AC and DC voltage VSD's in Low and Medium voltage range up to 11kV to meet design and/or required performance criteria to meet contractual commitmentsTroubleshooting and problem-solving assistance during commissioning, warranty service or maintenance activitiesProvide suggested improvements to ClientsCompile accurate reports after commissioning or service activitiesReport any possible improvements in quality and processProvide regular, accurate, and timely commissioning status reports to parties deemed appropriate to the situation as requiredGeneralShare best practices in implementing commissioning procedures to improve field engineering performanceRecommend software or hardware improvements to engineering departmentMaintain current safety qualifications appropriate to the assigned tasks and adhere to both Company and Client safety requirementsEnsure proper safety equipment is available and in good working condition, as assignedCoach associates in specific areas of technical expertise when identified by management as a function expertTrain Client personnel on system maintenance procedures and/or system operation to ensure optimum performance and minimum downtimeContribute to project planning for commissioning events to support the business when assignedGeneral Employee AccountabilitiesBring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by managerGive manager best adviceGive earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specifiedCooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by managerExemplify Company Core Values: Teamwork and Accountability, Integrity, Client Focus, Driving ProgressComply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and lawsRecommend viable improvements proactively Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processesMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma in electro-technical subjects.4 years' field engineering experience or 4 years' experience working in the metals, container port, paper, oil & gas or general industries.Basic knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems related to industrial application of VSD's.Basic knowledge of power semiconductors: Thyristors, IGBT's, IEGT's, IGCT's.Basic knowledge of electrical distribution systems (circuit breakers, metal clad switchgear, metal enclosures, etc.)Demonstrated ability to collaborate within teams across different functional areasDemonstrated ability to work autonomously with little or no supervisionDemonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative and communication skillsDemonstrated successful working relationships with Clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contactsProficiency in MS Excel and WordAvailability to travel, within Europe and outside Europe, more than 75% of the time, sometimes with limited noticeAbility to live and work within the EUFluency in English languagePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field or equivalent via education and/or work experienceDemonstrated experience working with international clients and field service personnelDemonstrated experience in international field engineeringDemonstrated experience in the metals, material handling, paper, oil & gas or general industriesProficiency in Oracle ERPProficiency in MS ProjectsJob LocationThe office location is in Bari, Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
