1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJob Title SAP Project Manager Material Systems ConversionLocation Lucerna ItalyEmployment Type Contract 12+ months, Full-time engagementOverview We are seeking a senior SAP Project Manager to lead governance for a high visibility SAP material systems conversion at a precision manufacturing facility in Italy with an associated technical center.This environment supports premium automotive production, requiring extremely high operational discipline and zero tolerance for disruption.This role is strictly governance-focused.It is not a hands-on SAP configuration role.A global system integrator will perform execution activities.Your responsibility is independent oversight, risk management, and objective reporting to enterprise leadership.Key Responsibilities Own overall project governance for SAP material systems conversionServe as independent oversight for system integrator deliveryManage and challenge execution teams when requiredCoordinate parallel workstreams between plant operations and technical centerLead project planning, milestone tracking, and dependency managementIdentify and elevate risks with clear, factual recommendationsMaintain transparent, unbiased status reportingInterface with manufacturing leadership and IT stakeholdersProtect plant operations during cutover and transition periodsRequired Qualifications Automotive or tier one manufacturing experienceExperience in high criticality production environmentsFamiliarity with SAP ECC and S4HANA conversion programsItaly based and able to work on site in Lucerna10+ years SAP project management experience in manufacturing environmentsProven legacy ERP to SAP conversion experienceStrong background in materials management and manufacturing processesDemonstrated experience governing large system integratorsComfortable pushing back on vendors and senior stakeholdersExcellent executive communication and documentation skillsWhat This Role Is Not Not a hands-on SAP configuration roleNot a vendor delivery positionNot a junior or coordinator level PM roleEngagement Details Expected start in Q1 with exact date to be confirmedInitial 12-month engagement with strong likelihood of extensionOpportunity to expand into additional regional programs based on performanceNorth Point Technology is a leading technology service provider dedicated to supporting critical missions.We value our employees by providing excellent compensation, benefits, and a flexible work-life balance.We strive for a close-knit and open atmosphere where the owners are always directly available to our team members.Apply with North Point Technology today#J-*****-Ljbffr
