OVERVIEW:Leading global operator specialised in the complete management of solar and wind assets for the generation of electricity is looking for an Accountant to join our Italian division.RESPONSIBILITIES:The successful candidate will play a supporting role in a wide variety of analytical, documentary, procedural, internal, and external reporting activities related to the company and its relevant stakeholders.Activities for this position will include, but are not limited to:Prepare general ledger reconciliations.Prepare and enter intercompany transactions.Support month-end reporting activities.Prepare monthly VAT liquidation and support the tax advisor for monthly tax obligations.Support in the preparation of various types of tax returns.Assist with year-end statutory audit and financial reporting.Assist with budget control and budget forecasts.Prepare bank reconciliations.Enter supplier invoices and GL transactions in SAP.Manage and post monthly and year-end accruals.Prepare and process payments using banking platforms.Perform other ad-hoc duties.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar discipline.+3 years of experience in a similar role.Strong critical thinking and organisational skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills.Intermediate Excel skills.Knowledge of SAP FI (Accounting and Controlling module).Proficient in IT and computer systems.Upper intermediate English (B2).SOFT SKILLS:Analytical.Detail-oriented.Proactive.Team spirit.FRV is an equal-opportunity employer.
