Who We Are GammaTech Engineering (GTE) is looking for a Senior Engine Performance Simulation Engineer with a solid work ethic, excellent judgment, and a desire to build a long-term career with us.What You Will DoYou would join our 1D Reactive Flow Simulation team, a group with nearly 20 years of experience in developing solutions for engine gas-exchange and combustion modelling and simulation. In this role, you would contribute to consulting projects for major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 suppliers in the transportation industry.Build, calibrate and correlate complex engine models, and simulate innovative ICE technologies using GT-SUITE, on a variety of applications: from SI to Diesel and alternative fuels; from marine or heavy-duty to motorsport and sportscar applicationsPerform a variety of tasks including but not limited to: combustion model calibration and validation; turbo-matching analyses; intake and exhaust acoustic optimization; design optimization and virtual calibrationDevelop and adapt innovative CAE methodologies to meet customer requirements, devising alternative design solutions for complex problemsAnalyze simulation results and provide expertise on the observed phenomenaAuthor high quality technical reports, simulation workflows, procedures and training materialInteract with colleagues on multi-disciplinary projects to achieve comprehensive solutionsManage projects and ensure timely delivery within the provided budget; choose the most effective and efficient technical approach to meet project requirements; manage and supervise the resources assigned to the projectCollaborate closely with customers, fostering positive and cooperative relationshipsParticipate in drafting technical and economic proposalsWhat You Will BringMSc. in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or similarStrong theoretical background and interest in internal combustion engine technologies4+ years of working experience with GT-SUITE (or other similar multi-physics system simulation tools)Basic Knowledge of Matlab/SimulinkProven Python experience is a plusProficient in both Italian and English, with strong written and oral communication and presentation skillsA proactive attitude towards continuous learningWhat we Can Offer YouDynamic and highly talented team of expertsThe opportunity to bring in your own ideas, implement them and make them accessible to a large customer baseThe opportunity to build a professional network in various branches of industryThe primary work location will be our Turin, Italy We've adopted a hybrid work policy asking employees to report to the office 3 days per work weekAn attractive salary and additional company benefitsAbout GammaTech Engineering SrlGammaTech Engineering, a Gamma Technologies LLC Company, traces its origins to POWERTECH Engineering, established in ****.
