Position OverviewTheEGSE & EMC Specialist Engineeris responsible for thedesign, validation, and operationofElectrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE)used for satellite and subsystem testing, as well as for ensuringElectromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)andElectrostatic Discharge (ESD)compliance during spacecraftintegration and test (AIT)phases.The role involves close collaboration withAIT,Systems Engineering, andTestteams to guarantee functional integrity, test accuracy, and compliance withESA/NASAandECSSstandards.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and validate EGSE systems(hardware and software) to support satellite functional and environmental testing.Plan and performEMC/ESD tests, measurements, and analysis to verify compliancewith mission and regulatory requirements.Define and implementtest setups, procedures, and instrumentation for integration and qualification campaigns.Collaborate with AIT teamsduring integration, environmental, and functional test activities, providing technical support and troubleshooting.Ensure compliance withESA/NASA standards, ECSS requirements, and customer specifications.Managecalibration, maintenance, and documentation of EGSEand test equipment.Support failure investigations and non-conformance resolution related to EGSE or EMC performance.Contribute tocontinuous improvementof test methodologies, equipment design, and data management.Interface with suppliers and external laboratories forEMC/ESD testingand validation.RequirementsDegree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering,or a related technical field.Provenexperience in EGSE design, integration, and testing within aerospaceor high-reliability environments.Expertise in EMC/ESD testing, analysis, and mitigation techniques.Hands-on laboratory experience with measurement instrumentation, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers,andpower systems.Familiarity withECSS standards, ESA/NASA testing procedures, and cleanroom operations.Knowledge of satellite subsystems, AIT processes, and electrical interfaces.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.Proficiency in English (written and spoken).Possession of a driving license (Category B).Nice to HaveExperience with hardware/softwareEGSE development tools(e.g. LabVIEW, Python, NI TestStand).Knowledge of spacecraft power systems,TM/TC interfaces, and test automation.Familiarity with electrical safety standards,ESD control, and HSE requirements.Experiencewith EMC simulation tools and RF shielding design.BenefitsWhat We Offer:A dynamic and stimulating work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Metalmeccanico (CCNL) with compensation based on experience and skills.SPACE INDUSTRIES is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within its workplace and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.Why Join Us?A unique opportunity for professional growth in a young and dynamic aerospace company.The chance to work on innovative projects with a global impact in the small satellite sector.A stimulating and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to contribute to shaping the company's future strategies.
