Location. La Spezia, ItalyClearance. Eligibility for NATO SecretOltre-Cyber Space Defence is looking for an experienced Linux System Administrator to support secure, mission-critical infrastructures within the defence domain in La Spezia.Responsibilities- Daily administration of RHEL servers and Ubuntu workstations.- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of core services (Bind, Apache, MySQL, LDAP, DNS, DHCP).- Integration of Linux environments with Windows/Active Directory (Centrify).- Automation through scripting (Bash, Shell).- Virtualization management (VMware).- Backups, updates, performance optimisation, monitoring, and documentation.- 2nd line system administration support and cooperation with the Service Desk.- Reporting on system availability and supporting corrective actions.Requirements- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with RHEL and Ubuntu.- Strong experience in virtualization, scripting, Linux core services, and network troubleshooting.- Experience with LDAP, SELinux, anti-malware solutions and repository management.- Proven experience integrating Linux and Windows environments through Centrify.- Excellent command of English (NATO STANAG **** – SLP ****).- Eligibility for NATO Secret security clearance (active clearance is an asset).Nice to Have- Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.- Linux/VMware/Security+ certifications.- Experience in international or military environments.- Git and advanced automation skills.
