Sustainability Reporting – Global Policy and Standards Lead, VPJoin the State Street team in the Sustainability Office, overseeing the global sustainability and climate program.This Vice-President-level role leads development and compliance of emerging sustainability reporting standards, and guides the organization's corporate sustainability reporting strategy.Position OverviewThe Sustainability Office at State Street provides enterprise-wide leadership across State Street's global sustainability and climate program, including strategy, policy, governance and external engagement.This role partners closely with the Sustainability Controllers in Finance as well as Risk, Legal, Compliance and Data functions.Primary ResponsibilitiesBe the subject-matter expert on sustainability reporting standards; work with Public Policy, Legal, Risk and Compliance to determine how these apply to State Street.Engage with peers and best practice to monitor industry trends and inform State Street's approach to sustainability reporting.Liaise with the Head of Sustainability Data and Sustainability Controllers regarding future and emerging regulatory expectations.Formulate the strategy for State Street Corporation's annual Sustainability Report, describing how the company addresses sustainability and ESG-related issues.Partner with business areas, subject-matter experts and stakeholders to ensure relevant material issues are covered.Support the cross-functional team in developing the report.Provide strategic leadership on the materiality assessment approach, taking into account mandatory standards, peer best practice and external assurance advice.Analyze assessment results, review stakeholder feedback from investor engagements, and recommend which key topics State Street will manage, measure and report on.Present findings and recommendations to internal committees.Job Requirements and Minimum QualificationsKnowledge of sustainability reporting standards.Bachelor's degree and experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate reporting or financial services.***** years of progressive professional experience.Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks such as ESRS, ISSB / SASB, GRI, TCFD and eagerness to learn and leverage best practices.Strong project-management and execution skills.Ability to navigate complex organizations to achieve business objectives and collaborate across business units.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including engaging senior management.Strong data-management skills and commitment to high standards of data governance.About State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to manage risk, respond to challenges and drive performance and profitability.We keep our clients at the heart of everything we do.State Street values inclusive development opportunities, flexible work-life support, paid volunteer days and vibrant employee networks.As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we consider all qualified applicants for all positions without regard to race, creed, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, ethnicity, age, disability, genetic information, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, citizenship, marital status, domestic partnership or civil union status, familial status, military and veteran status, and other characteristics protected by applicable law.Job ID: R-******#J-*****-Ljbffr
