Four Seasons Hotel Firenze – Laundry Attendant (Summer ****)Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is looking for a motivated Laundry Attendant to join the team for the **** summer season.About the roleThe Laundry Attendant is responsible for the meticulous upkeep of all linens used throughout the hotel as well as the detailed dry cleaning of our guests' clothing and employee uniforms.What you will doSort guest items for appropriate action and process the clothing on the correct equipment, using the appropriate temperature and chemicals.Fold or hang the clothing as desired and deliver clothing to guests at the time desired.Process employee uniforms on the correct equipment using the appropriate temperature and chemicals and transport clean uniforms to storage.Sort used linens into appropriate categories for washing, sorting out stained or torn linen, load and unload driers.Shake wet sheets, table linens and napkins prior to ironing, feed washed linens into ironer, retrieve folded linens, and hang clean linens as appropriate.Sort clean towels, rugs and robes, and place folded product on appropriate rack.Operate and maintain washer, dryer, dry cleaning machine, steam tunnel, presser and iron; report any problems to management.Attend daily briefing from supervisor or management.Support in measuring new employees for uniforms and in tailoring services if needed.What you bringFlexibility, teamwork attitude and a can-do approach.Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Italian.English is a plus.Minimum experience in a related position is preferable.Experience in tailor services is a plus.What we offerCompetitive salary, wages and a comprehensive benefits package.Excellent training and development opportunities.Employee discount for stays at any Four Seasons worldwide.Complimentary dry cleaning for employee uniforms.Employee meals.Staff accommodation upon availability.Schedule & HoursFull time and seasonal contract.Positions required to work in shifts.This role requires pushing, lifting and carrying boxes and carts.Successful candidates must hold legal authorization to work in Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
