Goppion SpA is the market leader in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke museum display cases for the world's most prestigious museums.Recognised for the quality and innovation in design, the company has a strong brand and identifies their criteria of "total Client satisfaction, bespoke design and long term Client relationships" as they protect the masterpieces of Humanity.The role is suited to an experienced professional, with a strong technical background, that has worked in a similar position with companies operating on project/contract basis.Key responsibilities include:Sourcing and developing international business leads with museums, architects, designers and cultural institutions internationallyBeing responsible for managing, coordinating and growing strategic relationships and commercial partnershipsWorking closely with the family-led company and the business development department, to lead the development of bids, tenders and/or negotiations up to the successful conclusionCreating and conducting proposal presentations to potential clientsBeing able to work with Company Representatives in international markets As a key member of the business development team, contribute to the business' growth, innovation and profitabilityRequired QualificationsIndustry recognized degree in architecture or engineering, and, preferably, a post graduate qualificationAbility to legally work in ItalyAbility to speak, read and write English and Italian fluently, French strongly desiredExperience with customized construction project work in international markets in private and public sectors5+ years' experience in business development or sales management roleAbility to travel abroad frequentlyStrong communication and presentation skills and knowledgeable of other culturesExcellent problem solving and organizational skillsFlexibility and open attitude towards new ways of working and commitment to independent, lifelong learningFamiliarity with museums, cultural institutions, designers, architects in public and private sectors and not-for-profit environmentsPersonal Skills/CharacteristicsSelf-motivated and able to take responsibilityAbility to take initiative in response to direction or instruction and a proactive approach to daily tasksAbility to manage and prioritize tasks and time efficientlyAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficientlyMust have a natural ability to engage in relationships with individuals and groups and a desire to improve and build upon themA strong team player, straightforward, open and direct with the ability to work effectively with personnel of different disciplines and all levelsMust be mature, cultured, credible and professional.Must have a direct and positive style with the ability to carry people through proposals and presentationsIf you meet these requirements and wish to apply, please send an up-to-date CV and cover letter to#J-*****-Ljbffr
