Overview Job Title : Investment Associate Report To : Country Director Italy Role Purpose We are looking for an Associate to join our investment team. Its an exciting time for Bluefield as we are exploring new markets and our investment team is growing. The role will involve working with senior colleagues across all stages of the investment lifecycle. Responsibilities Evaluation of potential investments and divestments including: Development and management of financial models; Support & create analysis for live / pipeline transactions (operational and development projects); Assist in managing and reviewing due diligence including the management of financial legal and technical advisors; Assist in the writing of Investment Committee and Board papers; Support in the supervision and monitoring of existing investments working closely with the finance and technical teams; Other analytical research and modelling support for the team including competitor analysis and market reviews; Semi-annual valuations of fund portfolios along with review of fund valuation models; Preparation of client communication materials; Participation in meetings with external counterparts; Support and delivery of internal initiatives; Performance analysis of investments to comply with regular reporting obligations. Location & Hours Job Location Rome with travel to the Italian and other offices or locations as required. Milan as a less preferred alternative can be considered. Hours of Work 40 hours per week Monday to Friday office hours with options for flexible working. You may occasionally be required to stay away overnight for periods of time to facilitate meetings, conferences and group duties. Qualifications & Experience Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience : 3 year in Investment or Financing Obtained at least a 2:1 Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering Renewable Energy focused background Economics or Business related experience Financial & Analytical ability Clear & concise written & verbal communication Time management Organised Knowledge of Investment lifecycle, Renewable energy and Financial modelling Willing to travel extensively Fluent in English and Italian; level Spanish will be considered an advantage Candidate Profile Person Specification Flexibility to meet a range of tasks in a rapidly changing team environment Attention to detail Pro-active & problem solving Collaborate yet comfortable working independently Initiative: A can-do attitude, self-starter and motivated to succeed Required Experience : Key Skills Eclipse, Apache, Drafting, Audio Visual, AutoCAD Drafting, ACCA Employment Type : Full-Time Experience : years Vacancy : 1 J-*****-Ljbffr
