About UsSafilo is one of the most important players in the eyewear market for design, production and distribution of sunglasses, prescription frames, sports glasses, helmets and goggles.Our portfolio includes timeless brands such as Polaroid and Carrera, as well as cutting-edge labels like BOSS, Hugo, Carolina Herrera, Tommy Hilfiger, Fossil, Kate Spade, Marc Jacobs, Pierre Cardin, Moschino, Levi's, Missoni.We place people, innovation and sustainability at the core of our business.Together we create value and drive inclusive growth.Cash Application SpecialistWe're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Cash Application Specialist to join our Accounts Receivable team.In this role you will apply daily cash receipts, reconcile statements, manage repayments, and support financial reporting.ResponsibilitiesAccurately apply daily cash receipts from various customer types.Handle payment deductions and chargebacks from retail customers.Reconcile bank statements with daily cash receipts and perform month-end AR-to-GL reconciliations.Process refunds and set up new payment methods for customers.Prepare account adjustments such as credits and write-offs with proper documentation.Create daily cash receipt reports, monitor weekly AR trends, and analyze month-end aging to identify and resolve discrepancies.Gather weekly cash forecasts from entities to support financial planning and reporting.QualificationsProfessional proficiency in English (C1 level); additional languages are a plus.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Business.Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in cash application or accounts receivable.Proficiency in MS Office.Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and exhibit strong negotiation, teamwork, time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.BenefitsA working environment built on a solid corporate culture, allowing you to collaborate with many professionals and develop your skills.A flexible work model that supports work-life balance (three days a week remote / free location).Additional InformationSeniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Accounting / Auditing and FinanceIndustry: Retail Apparel and FashionLocation: Padua, Veneto, ItalyReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Safilo by 2×.#J-*****-Ljbffr
