Join to apply for the Subsea Engineer role at Hill International, Inc.Job DescriptionHill International is looking for a Subsea Engineer for one of our oil and gas projects based in Milano.ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all necessary technical interfaces with other systems or activities belonging to the Project are considered by the Contractor at all times.Ensure the overall performance, installability and operability of subsea systems.Assist in the preparation of user manual and installation procedure by Contractor and assist installation campaign.Assure that the design meets Project requirements, applicable standards and engineering best practices, developing the company's know-how in this area.Maintain consistency, quality and cost effectiveness of project design of the subsea production system in compliance with all applicable codes, company standards and specifications, contract, international standards and engineering best practices.Conduct site inspection and interface with Contractor on technical and delivery issues.Ensure delivery of the subsea components in line with the project objectives, technical interfaces and requirements.Key ActivitiesAssisting the SPS Lead / Package Manager in the following:Follow up the detailed engineering performed by the SPS Contractor relevant to Subsea Production Tree systems, subsea tie-ins, ROV tools and subsea structures.Review and comment technical documentation produced by the contractors (e.g. reports, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.) ensuring the implementation of the established procedures, applicable codes, company standards and specification, contract, international standards and engineering best practices.Resolve ongoing technical queries / issues concerning all aspects of the subsea equipment.Monitor and report technical progress to the SPS Lead / Package Manager.Ensure that all internal and external interfaces are correctly managed by Contractor.Witness SUI, FAT, SIT, EFAT.QualificationsAt least 7 years of engineering experience in Oil & Gas Industry.At least 5 years of subsea engineering experience.At least 2 similar activities (subsea EPC project follow up).Excellent spoken and written English and proven ability to write specifications and reports.Job functionEngineering and Information TechnologyCivil Engineering, Construction, and Business Consulting and ServicesAbout UsHill International, with more than 4,100+ professionals in over 100 offices worldwide, provides program management, project management, construction management, project management oversight, advisory, facilities management, and other consulting services to clients in a variety of market sectors.Engineering News-Record magazine recently ranked Hill as one of the largest program management firms in the world.For more information on Hill, please visit our website at .Hill is exclusively a program, project, and construction management provider, meaning we have one focus as a company: protecting client interests.Free of any potential conflicts, our entire business is geared towards helping clients achieve their desired outcomes.We are dedicated to exceeding expectations throughout the entire construction project lifecycle and adapt to the needs of each assignment to develop tailored approaches and solutions to meet those needs.Hill is a GISI Consulting Group company, part of the Global Infrastructure Solutions, Inc.
