FRONT OFFICE AGENT San Clemente Palace Venice – San Clemente Palace Venice is a majestic five-star luxury resort set on its own private island in the heart of the Venetian Lagoon.Immersed in a 900-year-old historic building rich in Renaissance charm, the property features beautifully restored monastic structures, a 12th-century chapel, and nearly six hectares of ancient gardens with breathtaking views of Venice.The resort offers 196 elegant rooms and suites, including the largest and most exclusive suite in Venice.Contemporary luxury blends seamlessly with historical architecture, highlighted by six-meter-high ceilings, grand staircases, terrazzo floors, silk-covered walls, and Murano glass chandeliers.Guests enjoy exceptional dining experiences, rotating art installations linked to the Venice Biennale, and moments of pure relaxation at the Longevity Spa, featuring a heated outdoor pool, tennis court, jogging paths, pitch & putt golf course, and a fully equipped kids' club.The hotel's unique location, just minutes from St. Mark's Square by private boat, creates an unforgettable luxury experience.Role Description As Front Office Agent , you will be a key ambassador of San Clemente Palace Venice and a vital member of the Guest Services team.This position plays a critical role in shaping the guest experience, acting as the first and last point of personal contact for our guests.You will ensure a seamless, highly personalized journey from arrival to departure, consistently reflecting the resort's five-star standards and commitment to excellence.Your main responsibilities will include: • Managing smooth and efficient check-in and check-out procedures in line with luxury standards • Handling billing, payments (cash, credit cards, direct billing), and ensuring accuracy at all times • Preparing key packets and assigning rooms according to guest preferences and room categories • Warmly welcoming guests and providing a complete introduction to the resort's facilities and services • Handling incoming calls, messages, and guest correspondence with professionalism and discretion • Acting as a primary point of contact for guest requests, inquiries, and concerns • Maintaining accurate reservations, cancellations, and modifications within the PMS • Verifying guest details, rates, and payment methods upon arrival • Coordinating closely with Concierge, Housekeeping, and Engineering to ensure seamless service delivery • Ensuring clear shift handovers and continuity of service • Proactively anticipating guest needs and personalizing the guest experience • Upholding confidentiality and maintaining impeccable front desk presentation at all times What We're Looking For • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field (preferred) • Minimum 1–2 years of Front Office or Guest Relations experience in a four or five-star luxury hotel • Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken); additional languages are a strong advantage • Proficiency with hotel PMS systems (Opera, Fidelio or similar) and Microsoft Office • Strong financial accuracy in handling cash, foreign currency, and credit card transactions • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills • A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and guest service excellence • Ability to remain calm, professional, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment Working Conditions • Based on San Clemente Island , Venice (daily boat transfers required) • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak periods What We Offer • Opportunity to work in one of Europe's most prestigious luxury resorts • A unique workplace immersed in history, art, and culture • Competitive compensation package • Accommodation, meals, uniform, and on-property benefits • Continuous training and professional development • A dynamic, supportive, and international team environment Apply Now Ready to be part of an exceptional luxury hospitality experience?Send your CV to:
