Job Description Summary At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace company, we invent the future of flight, lift people up, and bring them home safely.We are a world-leading provider specializing in the design, production, and maintenance of components and propulsion systems for both civil and military aviation.Respect for people is core to our culture and part of our commitment to FLIGHT DECK, GE Aerospace's proprietary lean operating model.We attract, develop, and retain industry-leading talent and cultivate communities where people are respected and empowered to reach their fullest potential.For the people of Avio Aero, their work isn't just a job, it's their passion and purpose.We were meant to fly.As Advanced Program Manager you will be responsible for managing Rolls-Royce, LM**** programs and operations aspects of Safran programs.It is a Program Management position that will be part of the External Commercial Programs OTR Team.In this role you will be Customer Advocate in Avio Aero and will drive programs to meet Company's goals and targets, contributing to set the most effective organization and identifying and mitigating financial risks.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesFor the Rolls Royce and LM**** Safran programs :Responsible for the execution of program (New Make), maximizing benefits and opportunities in the contract, also being first point of contact for new initiatives.Create and execute an integrated plan to meet Company economics / financial and contractual targets within the allocated budget, including margin expansion initiativesDefine, update and monitor budget, business plan, economics (REV, GM, etc.), financials (collection, etc.), program KPI (OTD, VoC, etc.)Conduct regular risk assessments and oversee the execution of mitigation activities to address key risks.Establish and nurture long-lasting customer relationships, enhancing satisfaction on current programs and identifying opportunities for new initiatives.Lead the cross functional Program Team (ENG, GSC, QUA, etc.)Responsible for the flow-down of Customer Demand to GSCSupport PCB preparation as needed across all company levels, including Senior Leadership.Support the Commercial Team during all the phases of an offer, starting from the Customer's needs through the negotiations, until the hand-over at the Kick-Off meetingSupport the preparation of program reviews with the Customer, in accordance with the contractual and Customer expectationsMonitor the program progress (reporting relevant KPIs, EV etc.) at the operating rhythm (MOR, QMI, Cash Flow, ...)Update, review, and maintain business plans; provide timely internal reporting in accordance with defined standards, and continually review processes to ensure overall efficiency.Delegated for approval, signature and archiving of the documentation sent to the Customer (PO acceptance, official letters, etc.), as per DoA listResponsible for the cash collection from the Customers and the recovery of any past dueLeverage the FLIGHT DECK approach in process management to maximize execution quality.Act as Change Manager during the incorporation of new modifications, ensuring alignment with timelines, costs, and customer needs.For the Leap and CFM56 programs :Responsible for the Leap and CFM56 On Consignment Stock (OCS), both reporting updates to Finance and the Leadership and managing actively input and output through continuous work with the Customer and the Avio Aero shops, to contain the OCS level and meet the company goals.Lead the cross functional Program Team (ENG, GSC, QUA, etc.) to sustain the ramp of Leap volumes the upcoming years and for all the manufacturing topics.Liaise with Eng.And Supply chain team to integrate the mid-life upgrade initiative of Leap, preventing risk and production ramp disruption.Lead the regular review with the Supply Chain to monitor the status of deliveries to Safran, specifically on Leap, addressing timely any rising issue, anticipating potential future disruption and reporting status to the Leadership.Responsible for the ramp up of the CFM56 conical support according to the agreed plan and budgeted quantities.Execute activities to address customer concerns to maximize Customer satisfaction (through the Safran Supply Chain POC).Responsible for the flow-down of Customer Demand to GSC.Support customers in their needs following the contract requirement: industrialization process; technical support; equipment requirement.Support the preparation of program reviews with Customer, in accordance with the contractual and customer expectations.Monitor the program progress (reporting relevant KPIs, EV etc.) at the operating rhythm.Qualifications / RequirementsSTEM Master's Degree from an accredited universitySolid experience in management of complex projects in a structured companyGood risks management and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead across functional and customer / supplier teams, both on-site and remotelyStrong communication skills with all levels of internal and external customer organizations, including top managementProven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a matrix team / organizationDemonstrated financial acumen and expertise in risk managementFluent in written and spoken Italian and EnglishWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skillsOrientation to the CustomerDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsKnowledge of contract law and export license processesWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes smart work in hybrid mode, and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.We value our employees' wellbeing;
