Mid-Senior Backend DeveloperAt Tecla System, we develop a Media Asset Management platform tailored to meet the demands of tier-1 clients in the broadcast industry.While we can't name our customers directly, we're confident you're familiar with them.Our mission is to empower media professionals by automating and streamlining daily workflows, fostering seamless collaboration, and providing secure, scalable access to content across a wide range of environments.Core ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement robust backend components with a strong focus on clean, maintainable, and performance-predictable codeArchitect scalable and modular systems, ensuring long-term maintainability and performanceBuild and optimize video and audio processing applications, integrating low-level media handling with high-level service logicWork with low-level programming constructs, optimizing and memory usage where necessaryDevelop and maintain communication protocols, ensuring efficiency and reliability in data exchangeImplement asynchronous and concurrent programming patterns to build high-performance, non-blocking servicesCollaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutionsStay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to bring innovative solutions to the teamWhat You Will Bring to UsProficiency in backend developmentUnderstanding of system architecture and component designExpertise in low-level programming, including memory management and performance tuningKnowledge of asynchronous programming paradigms and concurrency modelsProficiency in one or more backend languages such as C#, C++, GoFamiliarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, sockets, and protocol designProficiency in English and ItalianBonus PointsKnowledge of .NET/C#Knowledge of video processing concepts and tools (e.g. FFmpeg)Experience with binary protocols, serialization formats (e.g. Protobuf), and custom data encoding/decodingExperience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of Linux systemsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and performance bonuses.Flexible work arrangements and remote-friendly culture.A collaborative, high-impact engineering environment.The opportunity to collaborate with leading global brands in high-profile media industries for sports, media, and entertainment.#J-*****-Ljbffr
