General SummaryIn this essential role, you'll be part of a skilled service team responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and servicing aircraft to ensure peak performance and regulatory compliance. From routine checks to hands-on mechanical repairs, you'll play a critical part in maintaining the integrity and safety of every aircraft that enters our facility. As an Aircraft Service Technician, you'll work with advanced tools, technical manuals, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Primary ResponsbilitiesPerform routine and scheduled aircraft inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and company maintenance programs. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure aircraft are safe, airworthy, and ready for service.

Read and interpret technical manuals, engineering documents, service bulletins, and maintenance logs. Remove, repair, and reinstall aircraft components such as panels, control surfaces, and landing gear. Utilize specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to verify system performance and resolve discrepancies. Accurately complete maintenance records, work orders, and compliance documentation.

Collaborate with fellow technicians, inspectors, and supervisors to meet project timelines and operational requirements. Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety protocols, including hazardous material handling.
