OverviewAVASK is a global consultancy that specialises in international taxation and business solutions for e-commerce sellers.Established in ****, we operate across multiple continents and provide expert guidance to over 10,000 clients worldwide.Our mission is to simplify international trade by offering innovative, efficient, and compliant strategies.RoleIndirect Tax ConsultantLocationSouthampton, UK, or our EU officesSalaryDepending on experienceOur Indirect Tax Consultants play a crucial role in supporting clients worldwide with their VAT obligations, encompassing tax compliance, VAT advisory services, and e-commerce consultancy.We adopt a client-centric approach and are currently seeking tax professionals to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.As an Indirect Tax Consultant, you will provide comprehensive advice, offering practical guidance on VAT regulations, cross-border transactions, and ensuring full compliance with VAT laws.Indirect Tax Consultant, the roleProvide high-quality VAT consultancy and business advice to your client portfolio continuously.Calculate and file European VAT returns meticulously and promptly, ensuring the highest level of accuracy.Advise clients on VAT liabilities, guide them on tax payments, proactively remind them of outstanding returns, and ensure compliance with European filings, EC Sales, and Intrastat reporting as required.Communicate with tax offices regarding clients' accounts and obligations.Conduct VAT audits / investigations in collaboration with tax offices related to your client portfolio.Manage clients' accounts in coordination with the Credit Control Department.Stay consistently updated with VAT law and any changes in legislation.Provide exceptional customer service to build trust, rapport, and strong relationships within your portfolio.Represent the company professionally at events / webinars.Train, support, and develop new team members.Collaborate positively and enthusiastically with the team.Actively engage with Managers and Directors to suggest contributions for improving procedures.QualificationsEssentialExperience working in Law / VAT / Accountancy / Finance.Minimum 2 years of VAT experience.Confident and with excellent communication skills for client interaction and engagement (Email, Phone, and face to face (ad hoc)).Works well in a team as well as independently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Organised and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Excellent multi-tasking ability.DesirableExperience or knowledge of International E-Commerce.Knowledge in other languages as EU languages would be an advantage.About AVASKAVASK Global Compliance are a rapidly expanding international firm that specialise in VAT, tax and accounting for e-commerce businesses.AVASK assist hundreds of Amazon FBA sellers as well as entrepreneurs across eBay, Shopify and many other platforms.Providing clients with a comprehensive range of expertise - from practical guidance on cross-border transactions, to ensuring they are fully compliant.#J-*****-Ljbffr
